One of the most beautiful Agaves with rosettes of soft apple green leaves covered in a white bloom on a short trunk. Not hardy outside but a lovely container plant overwintered in the conservatory. Height : 1m.

Another good plant for the Mediterranean look. From South Africa this has a large rosette of spiny succulent leaves on a tall stem and produces beautiful spikes of red or yellow flowers in winter and spring. Hardy in Cornwall, otherwise grow in pots. Height : 90cm.

A species from the Northern Cape, growing on rocky ridges. Dense rosettes of bright green leaves can reach up to 1m. in diameter. Stems of bright yellow flowers up to 1m. tall in late summer. Should be able to withstand light frosts.
